Hyderabad, 06th June, 2018 - SodaBottleOpenerWala known for its Irani specialties & for Bombay Street Food, has curated eleven spectacular haleems being served all through the month of Ramzan. This year also SodaBottleOpenerWala organised the much awaited Haleem eating competition. The annual Haleem Competiton this year had a quiz competition with the group members of Foodies In Hyderabad - Reloaded , through that they shortlisted 10 contenders who got their team partners for cheering them during the competition.
SodaBottleOpenerWala served 3 different Haleems like roasted corn Haleem, chicken Haleem & prawns Haleem in the first round. On finishing all these, the participants were served the irani mutton Haleem and vegetable haleem, all the participants were supposed to finish all the haleem with in the duration of 15 minutes.
The Winner of The Haleem Competition was Mr. Amith Nair who ate a whopping 2.6kg & the Runner Up was Mr. Ankit who came close to 2.2kg. The Gyarah handi Haleem festival is giving the opportunity to the Hyderabad people to try the different variants of Haleem at SodaBottleOpenerwala and making it their preferred destination for tasting Haleem this year.
