Bangalore, 11th June 2018: CMR Centre for Business Studies held its Graduation Day Ceremony at the OMBR college campus. 113 MBA students were graduated for the year 2018. The evening began with a melodious rendition invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesha which was complemented by an enthralling dance performance.
Addressing the students the chief guest of the programme, Prof. T D Kemparaju, Vice Chancellor, Bengaluru North University said, “We are witnessing four characters changes in the present scenario that is Quality, Change in Technologies, Knowledge revolution and Competition. Today’s education requires knowledge and skills. MBA is the most chosen stream in today`s education line after completing their Post-Graduation degree and it requires skilling, reskilling and upskilling along with good academic performance. Everyone should be aggressive and result oriented both in personal and professional life and should be appraised about the contemporary issues and challenges of the corporate life”.
The programme was presided over by Dr. Sabitha Ramamurthy, President, CMR Jnanadhara Trust who also encourage the students to be hardworking, creative and should become problem solvers rather than job seekers alone.
On the occasion, the student achievers in academic and sports were felicitated for their extra-curricular activities and those who had demonstrated exemplary leadership skills throughout the year. An atmosphere of pride, happiness and excitement prevailed punctuated with rounds of applause, as students went on stage to collect their awards & certificates.
