Hyderabad, August 9th, 2018: Siegwerk India was awarded the coveted Bhamashah Award from the Government of Rajasthan (India). The award was presented by the Education Minister of Rajasthan at a ceremony held at the state capital, Jaipur.
The award is given to around 100 corporates and individuals who work with various government projects each year and Siegwerk India is one among them. The award to Siegwerk recognizes the work done to support schools in the state of Rajasthan, where Siegwerk’s Bhiwadi site is located. Siegwerk has improved conditions for the students studying in the government schools by providing them basic infrastructure, teaching aids, scholarships, study material, conducting social and sports activities etc. The support provided by Siegwerk India has helped 1,200 students and five schools.
The award was received by Ajay Agarwal, Head of Compensation and Benefits and HR Compliance, Siegwerk Asia, and a member of the Siegwerk CSR committee.
Siegwerk India is the first and only ‘Printing Ink’ manufacturing company in the country to manufacture Swiss and Nestle compliant toluene-free inks in a completely Toluene free environment. Siegwerk does not manufacture any toluene-based inks in its manufacturing facility – a decision taken to eliminate cross-contamination of toluene free inks with toluene from toluene-based inks.
