Every day, hundreds of projects, big and small, get off the ground or advance to various stages of progress and completion. Every single one of them solves problems, makes life better and expands the storehouse of knowledge we already have. Projects deliver the strategic vision of organizations and project managers work within multiple challenges to complete these projects. It is therefore important to recognize successful projects and project teams. At PMI, we salute the heroes and the teams who endeavor to make a difference. Since 2009, we’ve instituted the PMI India Awards Program to recognize and reward milestones in project management and execution. The nominations go through a three- stage stringent evaluation process before being shortlisted as finalists.

PMI India Awards Program is well recognized by industry, Government, NGOs and project practitioners as the most prestigious award for projects and the project management profession in India. These awards have now grown to become the industry's most prestigious distinction paying tribute to ground breaking projects that demonstrated superior performance, exemplary implementation and innovative processes.
Every year PMI India awards are given at the Project Management National Conference which is a flagship event of PMI India. For its 10th anniversary the conference theme “India in 2022 - Leading in a Globally Disruptive Market” focused on transformation required at national, organization and individual level to achieve India’s supremacy at global level.

Projects are shaping the future both here in India and the global community, and PMI is dedicated to helping project professionals prepare for the future, said Joe Cahill, Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration and Interim Executive, Project Management Institute. “We know the world of work is changing rapidly and the role of project leaders is no different. That is why PMI will continue to offer project professionals the tools and resources they need at every step of their career journeys to effectively contribute to their organizations in a current business environment that is more competitive than ever before.”
