· MoU signed between Dr. Lalit Khaitan, CMD, Radico Khaitan in his capacity as Chairman, PHD Chamber, UP Chapter & Mr. Kunwar Fateh Bahadur (Retd. IAS), President, UPAA on 29th July 2019 at the Unveiling Ceremony of Logo, Mascot & Athletics Kit at Hotel Taj Mahal, Lucknow.
· The championship will take place on 27-30 August 2019 in Lucknow.
Lucknow, August 01, 2019: Radico Khaitan, the largest manufacturers of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (“IMFL”) in India, has partnered with the 59th National Inter-State Senior Athletics Championship 2019. The championship is being organised in collaboration with UP Athletics Association (UPAA) and Athletics Federation of India from 27th to 30th August 2019 in Lucknow. The four-day championship will be contested by more than 550 athletes from all over the country and from neighbouring countries. This Championships will give another opportunity to Indian athletes to qualify for participation in IAAF World Championships in Athletics to be held at Doha (Qatar) from 27th September to 6th October 2019.
The logo and the athletics kit were released and the mascot of the championship was revealed at the Unveiling Ceremony on 29th July at Hotel Taj Mahal by Dr Lalit Khaitan in the presence of the chief guest Shri Chetan Chauhan, Hon’ble Minister, Sports, Youth Welfare, Vocational Education, Skill Development and other distinguished guests of honour such as Shri Brajesh Pathak, Hon’ble Minister Law, Justice, Additional Energy and Dr Mahendra Singh, Hon’ble Minister Rural Dev, Medical, Health.
The board and the guests of honour also felicitated the following athletes for making the country proud with their contribution to the field of sports and for being the source of inspiration for the young athletes.
